Eveline Bijleveld is a Bachelor of Industrial Product Design and graduated from the Rotterdam University in 2008.
After seeing the documentary Waste equals Food in 2007, she was inspired by and excited about the “Cradle to Cradle” concept, so she looked for a graduation-project with this concept as its basis. Whilst working with VelopA, a manufacturer of street furniture, she designed a “Cradle to Cradle” park bench.  After her graduation, Eveline was invited to further develop the bench at VelopA as a sustainable product designer. In September 2009 the park bench was ready for production, and it achieved a “Cradle to Cradle” certificate. In her experience with designing sustainable products, the focus was on the use of materials, production techniques, recyclability and “Cradle to Cradle”. Eveline was awarded with the Rotterdam University sustainability prize for her park bench.

Eveline also studied Advertising, Presentation and Communication (RPC) at NIMETO Utrecht in 2004. She graduated in Applied Interior Design and since the start of her studies (2002), has worked freelance on interior design, colour plan and graphic projects.

Eveline is a conceptual designer: Why do products exist, what story do you want to tell and what is the target consumer? She is an energetic and practical team player with a well developed sense of shape and colour.
